Dieter Hruby, pictured here with a beautiful Sockeye salmon, immigrated to Canada with his family 24 years ago. Following a life long dream he settled in Terrace and built the Lodge.
Dieter is the main guide and holds all the necessary licenses and permits to operate the Lodge.
Ursula Hruby shares the love of fishing and her organization and cooking skills are no small part in the success of the Lodge. 
Alexander Hruby was a teenager when he came with his parents to Canada. His main job is the running of the smoke house but he also makes sure that all the little things behind the scenes keep working smoothly. The steelhead shown here, just shows how he knows a thing or two about being a guide as well.
Michelle Hruby is the newest addition to the family. She is Alexander’s wife and it didn’t take her long to learn the art of fishing. She is irreplaceable when it comes to stocking the Lodge with all necessitates for day-to-day operation.
